Streamline your packaging process

As a manufacturer, you understand the importance of packaging. It protects your products during transport and storage, and it also helps to showcase your brand. However, finding the right packaging can be a challenge. Off-the-shelf packaging may not fit your products correctly, leading to damage during transport. On Demand Packaging® technology allows for better use of warehouse space, labor, resources, and money, so you can create right-sized custom boxes fast and efficiently. Plus, these solutions allow for more scalability, so you can grow your business and continue to meet increased order demand.

Reduce supply chain inefficiencies →

Save time and money using a Right-sized Packaging on Demand® System. Fulfill orders faster and create custom corrugated boxes that save space on trucks, so you can ship more at a time. Automation makes fulfillment centers faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective.

Get your products to market quicker →

Speed is everything. Automated packaging systems create right-sized packaging in seconds, so you have it right when you need it.

Reduce your carbon footprint →

By right-sizing your boxes, you use less corrugated and less void filler, resulting in more eco-friendly packaging. Smaller boxes also means more truck space, so you can fit more orders on one truck and put less trucks on the road.

How Right-sized Packaging On Demand® works

Whether you need it to produce boxes in batches, at the end of an assembly line, or to meet ecommerce packaging demand, Packsize’s box-making machines can be customized for any workflow. Once your product dimensions are entered into the machine (either through a barcode scan, manual scan, or your WMS), our z-Fold® will be fed into the machine and cut into a right-sized box. These multi-patented, automated On Demand Packaging machines are equipped for large box production environments across a wide variety of industries.

There are other people out there trying to do this and they can’t. We have never had a day that we didn’t get all the shipments out. [Packsize] has literally never let us down … we’re looking forward to many more years of having Packsize as one of our key business partners.

The customer first configures a piece of furniture in our 3D configurator from Schrankwerk.de on the web. Since the configurator is linked to our internal design program, the data is transferred directly when the order is placed and so the individual dimensions of the individual components can later be transferred to the packaging machine. The cabinet parts to be delivered are then packed as efficiently and quickly as possible.

We joined forces with Packsize at an extremely complex time when our business was transitioning to eCommerce. Their partnership approach meant that we were able to design a flexible solution for the here and now, and for the long term. The benefits went well beyond a packaging solution; delivering better data insights, multiple courier integration and courier selection criteria based on pack weight and dimension. Now we even use the system for temporary pick locations – It really is that flexible. That said, with regard to packaging, we have also made substantial savings in freight, packaging and labour and can give our customers a more sustainable and eco-friendly product.
